Mr. Page was elected as Director of the company in 1998. Mr. Page is Director Emeritus and former Chairman of the Board of San Diego Gas and Electric company and its parent, Enova Corporation. He was the driving force behind the merger of Enova Corporation and Pacific Enterprises into Sempra Energy. Mr. Page joined SDG&E in 1978 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1981, he was elected President and Chief Executive Officer and added the Chairmanship in 1983. Prior to joining SDG&E, he held numerous positions through 1978 at Gulf States Utilities in Beaumont, Texas, including Executive Vice President, Member of the Board and President of its non-utility business operations. Previously, he served as Treasurer and Controller of Wisconsin Power and Light. Prior to entering the utility business, Mr. Page was employed as a construction and structural engineer and served as an officer in the USAF. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and his Master's in Industrial Administration from Purdue University, where he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Management in 1994. Mr. Page has been a Certified Public Accountant and licensed professional engineer. He currently serves as a Director of Community National Bank and SYS Technologies. |
