Ms. Smith has been part of the American Innotek team since 1998 when she became the Controller. Previously, she was self-employed, providing bookkeeping and tax services for 22 local businesses. It was through her home-based business that she became acquainted with American Innotek Inc., serving as an outside vendor for six years. As the American Innotek company started to grow, so did the need for Ms. Smith's time and services, leading her to become an American Innotek employee. Prior to being a small business owner, Ms. Smith served as the vice president of administration for Mission Bay Mortgage Corp., the number one lender in California of government loans. In this capacity, she managed a $30 million line of credit and oversaw all accounting, loan servicing and payroll debts. Ms. Smith has a Bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego. |
