Mr. Salerno is a seasoned sales and marketing executive with more than 30 years of experience. Since joining American Innotek in 1997, he helped build the sales and marketing team that has grown Brief Relief into a national brand that dominates its market. Previously, Mr. Salerno obtained a wealth of sales and marketing experience in various industries. Mr. Salerno began his business career with the industrial division of Lehn & Fink, a Lysol brand company. He rose to Vice President of Marketing before moving to EcoLab, the country's leading manufacturer of industrial dish machine detergents. Switching careers into the medical device field, Mr. Salerno became the General Manager of the professional division of Moore Medical of New Britain, Conn. A cataloguer for office-based physicians, Moore's sales grew from $30 million to more than $50 million during Mr. Salerno's five-year tenure. Mr. Salerno was then recruited by BioSafety Systems Inc. and moved to California to serve as Vice President of Marketing. After the company was acquired by a Chicago-based firm, Mr. Salerno decided to stay in California and joined American Innotek. Mr. Salerno has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Education from Hofstra University in New York. The proud father of two children, Mr. Salerno is also an avid golfer and environmentalist. |
